  • Born and raised in KI (Big Trout Lake)
  • Became band member of Wunnumin Lake in 1975 and raised family there
  • Involved in First Nation administration and management responsibilities
  • Served as an elected community Councillor, Deputy Chief and Chief of Wunnumin culminating in 2005
  • Active in federal, provincial government relations as well with native organizations
  • Studied at Lakehead University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Political Science and Indigenous Studies
  • Served as a Policy Analyst and Advisor to the NAN Grand Chief’s Office until 2015 on resource development issues and climate change
  • Currently self employed and consulting work with Wunnumin Lake First Nation on project development, negotiations, and policy development. As well works with tribal and other native organizations as required
  • Has been working with NAN assisting in climate change consultations and engagement with leaders and elders. Currently involved in the completion of NAN Climate Change Report to be delivered to the Chiefs in late Fall 2017
